Always

Hi everyone,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Our challenge hostess Lois continues to issue the challenges.

For our challenge this week Lois has asked us to make a card with no stamping just die cuts.

Once upon a time this type of challenge may have scared me, but these days I seem to make a fair number of cards with little or no stamping on them ... maybe just a sentiment.

As I had just received Els new dies that are being released this month by Elizabeth Craft Designs and I got my new A Way with Words dies, I decided to create a Wedding card this week. This is a fairly tall card.

The background used on this is the new Hearts Background which I die cut using White Soft Finish Cardstock and then layered to the largest rectangle from the Postage Stamp Rectangles which had be covered with Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the front. I attached the Hearts Background to the front of the Postage Stamp Rectangle and then covered the remaining adhesive with Bright Cranberry Silk Microfine Glitter.

Along the bottom of the card I added the rings from the Pop It Ups Wedding Charms die set and the A Way with Words Always. The rings were die cut using Gold Metallic Shimmer Sheetz and the diamond uses Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. Always again uses the Bright Cranberry Silk Microfine Glitter.

I decided to have a pop up on the inside using the Pop It Ups Anita Frames die set. I also used a few more of the new A Way with Words sentiments using Bright Cranberry & Light Gold Silk Microfine Glitter for the sentiments.

Along the edges of the card I added some Gold/Silver Glitter Border Peel Off Stickers. And on the frame I added Gold/Silver Glitter Dots Peel Off Stickers.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
